Feast on a packet of corn chips, fries with a great amount of salt or any food that has a high level of salt. This is proven to calm the attack of the migraine. This might calm the storm or it may not. However, during this period of calmness quickly prepare the towel while waiting in the eye of the storm. The next method will require an extra pair of hands. This is a well-known home remedy for migraine headaches. Make sure the room is pitch-dark and quiet and you have someone massaging your scalp. Remind your “doctor” not to massage your temples. Ten minutes of this and it should be all over.
